Marianist Retreat (TAM)

Teaching as Ministry (TAM) workshop. Was a workshop I attended that was in June. By no means do I consider myself a photographer, but more of an artist with a camera.

The vocation of the catholic educator is not simply a call to teach - but rather - make of their apostolate, through the vigor of their Christian Spirit, a leaven in the world from the Second Vatican Council.

A. Think of Mary as integrity

B. Dignity of the person as a unique daughter or son of God.

C. Provide High-quality education of the whole person.

D. Provide coherent well-formed community of professionals.

E. Provide opportunities to develop the life of reflection, contemplation and prayer.

F. Address global and local issues of the times that impact the common good.

G. Respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

A. Show Marian traits of hospitality, graciousness and community-building.

B. Cultivate a nurturing educational culture.

C. Cultivate openness, respect, integrity, acceptance and dialogue.

D. Form an Educational family 

E. Model leadership as with loving and dedicated service.

A. Inspired by Mary the goodness and justice of God, works against oppression and the common good.

B. Have a Missionary spirit for God.

C. Care for the poor and marginalized.

D. Value of all people and their cultural for the common good.

E. Show justice with human dignity with fair respectful, collaborative policies and procedures.

F. Passion for justice through service of others

C. Accept and respect the difference between Society.

D. Truth and action of Critical thinking with habits of reelection inspire informed action.

E. Openness and adaptive contexts of local and global concerns through enculturation and Interdisciplinary education.

Educate for formation in faith.

Provide an Integral, Quality education.

Educate for service, justice, peace and the integrity of creation.

Educate for adaptation and change.
